Working with your primary care physician, our specially trained staff will give you a comprehensive evaluation and develop a personalized treatment plan that'll help you manage and reduce your pain and lead a healthier, more active lifestyle.

Our experts treat a wide variety of acute and chronic conditions, including:

  • Degenerative disc disease
  • Sciatica/herniated disc
  • Sports-related pain
  • Unresponsive cancer pain

What to expect

Following a comprehensive physical examination and thorough evaluation of your medical history, a personalized treatment plan will be developed for you. The focus is on treating your pain and teaching you how to play an active role in managing it. This provides the confidence and independence needed to reduce pain and regain control of your life. Depending on your condition, your plan may require only a few visits or an ongoing schedule of treatment.

Your care team

Easing your pain is a collaborative effort between your pain management physician, your primary care physician and you as well as any experts in related medical fields.

Your pain management physician will:

  • Review treatment plan recommendations with you and your doctor
  • Personally monitor your course of treatment
  • Forward all your medical records to your primary care physician
  • Work with experts in related medical fields, such as brain and spine, to give you comprehensive care

Depending on the treatment plan developed for you by your pain management physician, your care team could also include:

  • Registered nurses
  • Physical therapists
  • Occupational therapists
  • Counselors
  • Social services representatives
  • Neurosurgeons

Referral requirements

A referral from your primary care physician or self-referrals are accepted at our Pain Management Center. Insurance coverage will be verified by our staff prior to your first visit.
