Services we provide
Physical examinations
Employers are requiring preplacement and periodic physical examinations to assess the capabilities of their employees and/or applicants to perform the essential functions of their job safely with minimal risk to that employee or to other employees in their facility.
Government agencies such as the Department of Transportation (DOT), the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) and the Federal Aviation Association (FAA) have all developed regulations outlining the necessity for periodic physical exams. The Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) further defines how employers must document and assess employee applicants based on the essential functions of a job.
As experts in these regulations and medical requirements, our occupational health team can provide the following physical exam services tailored to meet your company’s specific needs:
- Preplacement and periodic physical exams
- DOT physical exams
- Return-to-work or second-opinion exams
- Independent medical evaluations
- Fit-for-duty exams
- FAA physicals
- Immunizations
- Workers’ compensation disability exams
