Advocate Illinois Masonic Medical Center Receives Quality Star through the American Society for Gastrointestinal Endoscopy

Chicago, IL - Advocate Illinois Masonic Medical Center is the first hospital in Chicago to receive the quality star by the American Society for Gastrointestinal Endoscopy (ASGE) Endoscopy Unit Recognition Program (EURP).

This honor is given to hospitals whose digestive health units have met the rigorous requirements to promote quality in endoscopy services. It helps patients understand the dedication the hospital has to promoting the safest and best care.

“We began the application process for this recognition almost two years ago,” says Jequeatta Upton Smith, Director of Digestive Health Services. “Not only are we excited to receive this quality designation, we are thrilled Illinois Masonic is the first hospital in Chicago to achieve this honor!”
