Downers Grove, IL– June 2, 2016 -- For the second consecutive year, Advocate Health Care was ranked among the Best Places to Work in Illinois by the Daily Herald Business Ledger. Named to the list in the large company category, the state-wide survey recognizes organizations that benefit Illinois’ economy, workforce and businesses.

“Advocate is honored to be listed among the Best Places to Work in Illinois once again in 2016,” said Kevin Brady, senior vice president and chief human resources officer, Advocate Health Care. “Employee feedback through a confidential survey is a critical element of this recognition and we are delighted that staff are so positive about Advocate’s work environment. Our employees are truly our greatest asset and help to make Advocate a great place to work. We value hearing from our staff so we can take steps to ensure they are excited to work here and are committed to deliver the safest and best care to our patients.”

Companies from across the state participated in the two-part process to determine the Best Places to Work in Illinois. The first part consisted of evaluating each nominated company's workplace policies, practices, and demographics. The second part consisted of an employee survey to measure the employee experience.
