Rabbi Yonason Meadows, BCC, MSW

Rabbi Meadows draws upon many different streams of experience and training in his work as a chaplain and CPE Educator. First, he is an Orthodox Jewish Rabbi. Second, he is rooted in his Social Work training, having graduated with a Masters of Social Work (MSW) from Yeshiva University. Third, his immersion in Clinical Pastoral Education (CPE) and clinical training and practice as a chaplain is core to his spiritual care identity and work.
Upon request by the Jewish community there, he traveled to Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania in December, 2018 to provide clinical care after the Tree of Life Massacre, the largest single anti-Semitic attack in American history.
In addition to working as the Critical Care Staff Chaplain for the Medical Respiratory and Coronary Intensive Care Units during Covid at Aurora Saint Luke’s Medical Center, he has been a Manager of Clinical Pastoral Education for Advocate Health since 2022.

Rev. Joanne Fong is a Manager of Clinical Pastoral Education in the Milwaukee, Wisconsin patient service area, Midwest region which covers St. Luke's, South Shore, Sinai, West Allis, and Grafton Medical Centers.
Joanne is a board-certified chaplain with the Association of Professional Chaplains with experience in hospice, palliative care, ICU, and trauma settings. She has served with clinical leaders on hospital-wide committees, has facilitated support groups for patients and their families, and supported team members.
Joanne holds a Bachelor’s degree in Fine Arts from the Fashion Institute of Technology, NY State University and a Master of Divinity degree from Princeton Theological Seminary. She is ordained as a Minister of Word and Sacrament by the Presbyterian Church, USA.
Joanne integrates her passion for Art and Spirituality as she creates an inclusive and diverse learning environment for her CPE students. Her interest in multiple intelligence, neurodiversity, and spiritual growth is central to her passion in educating CPE students on the importance of making a patient feel seen, heard, and cared for.
Rev. Danielle Buhuro, DMin, BCC

Rev. Dr. Danielle J. Buhuro is a Manager of Clinical Pastoral Education in the Southland Chicago patient service area, Midwest region which covers Christ, Trinity, and South Suburban Hospitals.
Dr. Buhuro is passionate about issues of race, gender, and sexuality. She is author of “Spiritual Care In An Age of #BlackLivesMatter: Examining the Spiritual and Prophetic Needs of African Americans Living In A Violent America.”
Dr. Buhuro attended Chicago Theological Seminary, where she earned the Master of Divinity and Doctor of Ministry degrees respectively. She is currently a Ph.D student studying in the area of social media identity, violence and pastoral theology.
Dr. Buhuro has served on the national board of directors for ACPE: The Standard for Spiritual Care & Education. She facilitates numerous workshops nation-wide on African American Pastoral Care and African-centered psychology.
