About pharmacy residency
Advocate Good Samaritan’s PGY1 Pharmacy Residency is part of Advocate Health, an integrated health care system in Wisconsin and Illinois. Pharmacy residents are based at Advocate Good Samaritan Hospital, a not-for-profit, community hospital that provides a full range of services to patients in the western Chicago suburbs. Advocate Good Samaritan is the only Level 1 Trauma Center in DuPage County, Illinois. In addition, Advocate Good Samaritan is accredited by DNV Healthcare as a Primary Stroke Center.
The pharmacy residents are given supportive, one-on-one training to match their personal goals and interests. Our goal is to provide post-graduate training, contributing to continuing development of pharmacists responsible in the medication-related patient care.
