Advocate Illinois Masonic Medical Center
Illinois Masonic Medical Center has long been recognized as one of the best hospitals in the country, offering compassionate and high-quality care across all its services and disciplines as part of Advocate Health Care, one of the largest fully integrated health care systems in the nation.
A recipient of numerous awards for quality and clinical excellence, Illinois Masonic has been named to IBM Watson Health's list of 100 Top Hospitals nine times since 2009, including each of the last three years. It achieved Magnet designation by the American Nurses Credentialing Center’s Magnet Recognition Program for the third consecutive time, an achievement only attained by 7% of U.S. hospitals.
The hospital has also recognized by the Human Rights Foundation Healthcare Equality Index for 13 straight years, recognizing the hospital's commitment to LGBTQ+ patient-centered care, patient services and support, employee benefits and policies and patient and community engagement. Practice Greenhealth also gave the hospital The Greenhealth Emerald Award recognizing advanced sustainability programs and exemplary scores in a range of categories.

The 517-bed teaching hospital is located in the Lakeview neighborhood of downtown Chicago and offers comprehensive inpatient and outpatient services in 43 medical and surgical specialties. Illinois Masonic is a level 1 pediatric and adult trauma center with 52,000 Emergency Department visits per year and operates a level III Neonatal Intensive Care Unit, the highest level designation in the state. Illinois Masonic is also home to the state-of-the-art Cancer Institute and Heart and Vascular Institute.
Medical office center
Our state-of-the-art imaging equipment includes The Women’s Imaging Center is also located in our outpatient facility and offers comprehensive imaging services including mammography, whole breast ultrasound, breast MRI, and DEXA scan. Our main outpatient facilities include the Medical Office Center and the Creticos Cancer Center, with over 291,000 outpatient visits per year. The Medical Office Center is also home to our outpatient Diagnostic Imaging facility which provides advanced medical imaging services to a wide patient population, including CT, MRI, and nuclear medicine imaging.

The Center for Advanced Care
The Center for Advanced Care is currently being constructed adjacent to Advocate Illinois Masonic’s existing hospital and is the first of a planned two-phase building program that will add 156,000-square feet dedicated to cancer care, digestive health, and ambulatory surgery services. The three-story development will add six outpatient operating rooms with video integration capabilities, 18 prep and recovery rooms, two linear accelerators, 16 infusion bays, and a state-of-the-art teaching area. The facility will position Advocate Illinois Masonic to deliver enhanced care across outpatient services platforms.
