Residency application process
How to apply:
The Department of Radiology at Advocate Illinois Masonic Medical Center offers 3 first-year radiology positions each year. Residents enter the program at the PGY-II level after successful completion of one year of post-graduate training at an ACGME or AOA accredited program.
All positions are filled through the National Residency Matching Program. Applications for residency are only accepted through the Electronic Residency Application Service.
All applications must include:
- Standard ERAS Application Form (including Curriculum Vitae)
- USMLE or COMLEX scores for Steps 1 and, if available, Step 2
- Other Board examination results (NBME, NBOME), if applicable
- Medical school transcripts
- 3 letters of recommendation
- Personal statement
- Recent Photo
International medical graduates must be ECFMG certified before an application can be considered. Advocate Health Care does not sponsor H1B visas.
Once complete, all individual applications are reviewed by our Residency Selection Committee and selected applicants are invited to interview. Interviews are typically held between mid-November and mid-January, with specific interview dates and interview day details provided via email once candidates are invited to interview.
