Faculty

The department consists of over 90 members, 80% of whom participate in the teaching program and 21 of whom are former graduates of our program. There is significant variety among attending staff in terms of practice type, age, and types of hospitals where they received their training. All subspecialties are represented allowing the resident a broad exposure to different clinical approaches.

A significant portion of the hospital-based patient population comes from the practices of the independent faculty. Currently, over 40 general obstetricians/gynecologists comprise the independent faculty. These attendings are extremely supportive of our residency program, involving themselves in the didactic as well as the practical aspects of resident education.
