Parking
We offer complimentary valet parking for patients coming to the Center for Advanced Care. Valet services are offered in front of the Center for Advanced Care entrance at 900 W. Nelson St.
There are also two parking garages on our medical campus. See our campus map [PDF] for details.
Parking is charged at an hourly rate with validation available for patients. See the Public Safety officer stations in front of the Wellington Parking Garage, outside the main hospital entrance, for parking validation.
If parking tickets are validated, the cost is:
- 4 for up to 6 hours
- $8 for 6 to 24 hours
Billing and Insurance
Advocate Health Care’s mission is to provide quality and compassionate health care to our patients and their families. We understand that hospital bills and insurance claims can be confusing. We want to help you understand what Advocate will do to assist you, how you can assist us and your health plan, and how we can help you with your application for qualifying for government or charity assistance programs. If you wish to speak with a customer service associate, please call 630-645-2400 Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.

Smoke-free Campus
In keeping with Advocate Health Care’s mission to promote health and wellness, smoking is not allowed anywhere on any hospital campuses, courtyards, parking towers or parking lots. This policy pertains to patients and visitors as well as physicians, associates and volunteers.
Interpreter Services
Foreign language and American Sign Language (ASL) interpreters are available at no cost to patients 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. TTYs/TTDs, closed-captioned TVs and other services are available to patients who are deaf or hard of hearing or who have speech impairments.

Dining Options on Our Medical Campus
ecos café
- Located in the Center for Advanced Care
- Open Monday through Friday, 7 am to 3 pm
Rendezvous Café
- Located on the ground floor of the main hospital
- Open daily during the following hours
- Breakfast: 6:30 to 10:30 am
- Lunch: 11 am to 2:30 pm
- Dinner: 4:30 to 7 pm
Courtyard Café
- Located on the first floor of the main hospital, behind the information desk
- Open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week
- Food and beverage service Monday through Friday, 7 am to 4:30 pm
Our Neighborhood
Family and Guest Lodging
The hospital has apartments on campus that can be rented for an overnight stay for your loved ones.

Valuables
If you bring any valuables to the hospital and they cannot be sent home, we recommend placing them in the hospital safe during your stay. If you need items secured, let your nurse know or call the Public Safety Department at 773-296-5300.
Illinois Masonic Medical Center is not responsible for money or other valuables you choose to bring to the medical center.
Spiritual Care
Our professionally trained chaplains are a vital part of holistic care. Our chaplains can:
- Provide spiritual and pastoral care for you, your family members and your friends, especially during times of crisis, grief or loss
- Contact your own clergy, congregation, synagogue, mosque or faith community, with your consent, and make arrangements for your religious and spiritual needs
- Provide information about advance directives
- Discuss ethical decision-making and health care issues
Our chaplains are available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week for prayer and meditation. You can contact a chaplain by calling 773-296-5005 or asking your nurse for assistance.
Our chapel is open to people of all faiths 24 hours a day, 7 days a week for prayer and meditation.
