Advocate South Suburban’s behavioral health services provide compassionate care for adults. You care team may include:

• Physicians who are board certified in general psychiatry and addiction medicine
• Advanced practice nurses
• Licensed clinical social workers

Our multidisciplinary approach to mental health treatment also includes specially trained nurses and support staff, as well as referrals to dietitians and pastoral care counselors when needed.

Treatment options

We’ll work with you to develop a treatment plan tailored for your specific needs. Our treatment options include outpatient, partial hospitalization and inpatient programs.

We treat a full spectrum of mental, emotional and behavioral illnesses including depression, anxiety and panic disorders, attention deficit and hyperactivity disorders.

Adult day hospital programs

Our adult day hospital-partial and intensive outpatient programs provide short-term intensive treatment to:

• Stabilize acute symptoms of your mental illness/behavioral health issues
• Improve your functioning of daily living
• Increase your understanding of mental illness/behavioral health issues
• Improve your coping skills to maintain optimal behavioral health
• Connect you with community support to help you maintain the gains you made while in our program
