Interventional radiology

Interventional radiology is a subspecialty of medicine that utilizes high-definition imaging
to help guide minimally invasive procedures that previously may have been performed in
an operating room. Today many conditions that previously required surgery can be treated
less invasively by interventional radiologists, often with less risk, less pain and less recovery
