Personal perspectives on teaching:
It is my privilege to oversee Psychiatry Residency Training at Advocate Lutheran General
Hospital.
My mission as Program Director is to provide our residents with meaningful educational
experiences on a daily basis. This requires a multifaceted approach which integrates
enthusiastic faculty, a warm and collaborative environment, a strong focus on wellness, and
a broad range of clinical experiences. Our class size permits abundant individual attention
from our faculty, and our residents develop strong professional identities through their
longitudinal relationships with clinical supervisors.
