Residency application requirements

Our program considers applications from individuals with:
- Graduation from an accredited medical school within the past two years
- Citizenship or permanent residency in the United States
- Psychiatry electives during medical school
- Solid medical school transcripts
- Solid USMLE and/or COMLEX board scores
Application materials should include:
- Personal Statement
- Curriculum Vitae
- Three letters of recommendation – It is strongly recommended one of these be from a psychiatrist. If you are transferring from another program one of these letters must be from your current/previous Program Director.
- Dean's letter from your medical school
- Medical School transcript
- USMLE/COMLEX transcript
- If you are a foreign medical graduate, please submit a copy of your ECFMG certificate.
Applications are accepted only through ERAS.
- Completion of the standard MyERAS application is a requirement
- Completion of the supplemental ERAS application is optional.
- Interview are generally scheduled from October through early January.
