The Spa at Advocate Good Shepherd Hospital Health & Fitness is committed to providing the best possible care for our clients. Please make yourself familiar with our policies and procedures as listed below. Both our procedures and our policies have been designed to ensure that both club members and non-members enjoy a truly wonderful experience with us. For appointments, please call 847-620-4500.

Arrival
Our clients are asked to arrive 10-15 minutes prior to this appointment to fill out any paperwork needed and so that you may leisurely change and relax prior to your appointment time. Existing clients please inform us if there have been any changes in your health since your last visit.
We understand that things come up that are out of your control. Should you arrive later than your appointment time you may have a shortened service.
Gift certificates
A great idea for any occasion. Gift certificates may be purchased at the Service Desk for any denomination.
Children in the spa
Childcare is available on site at no additional charge for spa guests in our Kids Club. Please call 847-620-4520 for availability.
Children are not permitted in any treatment room. Although we love children, their presence in the treatment area can be disruptive to our staff and other spa guests. Please do not leave children unattended in the reception area.
Payment methods
We accept VISA, MasterCard, Discover, AMEX, cash, and personal checks (with appropriate identification.)
Consider a Spa gift card or our spa products for the perfect gift. You may purchase them at the spa or by phone with a credit card. Gift Cards can be purchased for a dollar amount, a particular service, or a spa package.
Cancellation policy
We understand that in some cases you may need to cancel your scheduled appointment. We ask for a minimum of 24 hours' notice. Clients providing at least 24 hours' notice may have appointments cancelled or rescheduled at no charge. Clients providing less than 24 hours' notice are subject to a charge equal to 1/2 the price of the service that was scheduled.
Return policy
We do not offer refunds on services rendered. We do not offer refunds on products purchased in the spa.
We are committed to patient safety and cannot guarantee the quality of products sold outside our facility. It is not uncommon for skin care products obtained from the Internet to be diluted, counterfeit, stolen, expired, or otherwise tampered with. We do however guarantee full support and product coaching for customers that have purchased their products from the Spa. We feel that our expertise and guidance outweigh any cost savings you may receive from purchasing products elsewhere.
When you purchase a package of treatments, you will receive a discounted price. The discounted price requires full payment for the series before the first treatment date. We do not offer refunds on packages that have been purchased. Should you choose to cancel after you have begun your treatment series, the Spa will honor the outstanding amount in the form of a gift card exchangeable for goods and services.
