For parents, the unexplained can be overwhelming. For children, waiting only prevents them from receiving the care they need to succeed. The PDC leads the way in diagnosing children and teens who face developmental challenges.

Headed by a physician who is board-certified in developmental and behavioral pediatrics, our team of specialists is experienced in deciphering even the most puzzling developmental problems and planning an individualized course of intervention that is right for the needs of your child and family. A full range of professionals is ready to help, including:

• Physical, occupational and speech/language therapists

Following a diagnosis, very specific plans and therapies are provided by center therapists or by referral to an appropriate resource. Our bilingual (Spanish-English), bicultural staff can also address the needs of Spanish speaking families. Interpreters for a variety of other languages are also provided.
